NORTH

MANLY

Sydney's original seaside resort, promoted as "only seven miles from Sydney, but a thousand miles from care".
Now only 15 minutes by JetCat or 35 minutes by ferry from Circular Quay.
Once a favourite holiday spot for families, now with cosmopolitan style with many fine shops and restaurants. Stroll down The Corso from the ferry wharf towards the surf beaches.

PALM BEACH

The northern most beach on the Sydney peninsula. Long known for its weekend houses, the playground for Sydney's rich and famous. Superb restaurants and shops. About an hour's drive from Sydney.

EAST

BONDI

Australia's most celebrated beach. No visit would be complete without a trip to Bondi. 8km from the city.

Home of one of the oldest Surf Life Saving Clubs (1906).

Campbell Parade, a favourite with Sydney's café society.

One kilometre long, with sections for body boards and surfboards. Locals and tourists enjoy the surf year-round. Stroll along the promendade. Watch skate-boarders and joggers.

Campbell Parade, a favourite for sidewalk cafes, bars and restaurants, as famous as the beach itself.

Catch the 380 or L82 Bondi Beach bus from Elizabeth St City, 30 minute trip, or catch a train from Central, Town Hall or Martin Place to Bondi Junction, then the 380 or L82 bus.

Going south from Bondi take the Bondi to Coogee walk, 6km in 2 hrs.

COOGEE

A flat water beach favoured by families and backpackers, and much quieter than Bondi.

This route passes by Tamarama, Bronte and Clovelly.

SOUTH

CRONULLA

To the south of Sydney is Cronulla, Sydney's longest beach.
