SYDNEY, the capital of New South Wales, the gateway to Australia. With a population of nearly four million, it is the largest city in Australia.

The 2000 Olympic Games and Paralympics focused world attention on Sydney. Wide media coverage enabled people everywhere to see that whilst we are so far away, we have so much to offer visitors with our spectacular harbour and other well known attractions.
